Rhema Church Bangkok is an affiliate of Rhema Bible Church in Tulsa, Oklahoma, USA. The church was founded by Rev.Dr.Kenneth W. Hagin, building upon the foundational Bible training ministry established by his father, Rev. Kenneth E. Hagin. Currently, Rev.Dr. Kenneth W. Hagin and Rev.Dr.Lynette Hagin serve as the Senior Pastors.

Rhema Church Bangkok focuses on evangelistic missions and Christian training, aiming to allow the love of God and the Gospel of Jesus Christ to transform lives in Thailand. Our mission is to reach the lost while equipping and preparing believers for the work of the ministry to serve God.

Journey of Blessings

1999

The Beginning of a Vision

Rev. Gary and Connie Crowl first visited Thailand in 1993, during which God placed a deep burden on their hearts to establish a church in Bangkok with a focus on missions and training believers. Obedient to this heavenly vision, Rev. Gary Crowl and his family later returned to Thailand to fulfill the calling God had given them.

They founded the church under the name “Rhema Bible Church Bangkok,” holding their very first worship service on September 5, 1999, at the Montien Riverside Hotel.

2000 – 2001

Building People and Expanding the Ministry

In August 2000, Rev. Gary Crowl founded “Rhema Bible Training Center Thailand.”

Later, the church relocated its worship services and meetings to the Rama 3 Tower, with Rev. Glenn and Rev. Beth Hardeman stepping in as Pastors.

2004 – 2012

Momentum and
Shifting Foundations

In 2004, Rev. Keith and Rev. Sharon Higginbotham took office as the Pastors of the church and Directors of the training center.

A historic moment occurred in 2009 when Rev. Dr. Kenneth W. Hagin and a team of students from Rhema Bible Training Center USA traveled to Thailand to attend the graduation ceremony for the first time.

As the ministry grew, worship services were relocated to the Ramada Plaza Menam Riverside Hotel on Charoen Krung Road in 2011, and later moved to the YWCA Building on South Sathorn Road in February 2012.

2016 – 2022

Stepping into a New Decade Amidst Fellowship

In December 2016, Rhema Church Bangkok relocated to Bangkok Square on Rama 3 Road. Throughout these years, the church warmly celebrated its 17th, 19th, and 20th anniversaries. The 20th anniversary was particularly special, featuring Rev. Gary Crowl, the founder of Rhema Thailand, as the guest speaker.

Even when faced with the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic, faithful volunteers united to renovate and prepare the sanctuary, eagerly welcoming members back to in-person fellowship and worship.

2023 – 2024

From Vision to the Foundation of Faith

“The House of God, Our Shared Future. United, We Can Build It.”

Driven by the shared vision and unity of every member to build the house of God, Rhema Church Bangkok celebrated its official Groundbreaking Ceremony on Sunday, June 4, 2023, marking the official launch of the church building construction. This was a monumental first step in laying the foundation for the future of the church.

“…I will build my church, and the gates of hades will not overcome it.” — Matthew 16:18

2025 – Present

Moving Forward in Faith

Marking another miraculous milestone, the church has officially moved into its brand-new building, opening the 1st floor for worship services and various ministry activities.

Meanwhile, the construction and development of the remaining two floors and the surrounding premises continue steadily by faith, preparing the house of God for the expanding ministries ahead.
